Paying your own taxes in Spain BE AWARE

When you buy an off plan property in Spain your NIE shows your address which then will be (likely, as ours was) just the plot number & urb & area because, at that time, the proper postal address wasn't available.

Your stickers (which you obtain from the tax office nearest to you) to put on your 214 forms will have that address on (please check) so, when you have your postal address, you need to get hold of the modelo (form) 030 which informs the tax office of your correct postal address or face a fine of minumum 100 €.
