Wonder if Al Puente (DIY store) by that tunnel on motorway AP7 on outskirts of Pilar de la Horadada would stock these ?Or another one is Don Bricolage (Brocolage is the Spanish word for a DIY store) it's just past Dos Mares on the way to San Javier on the right hand side.

We too plan an underbuild and had several builders in to quote, two of whom anticipated erecting stud walls (one metal, the other timber), so plasterboard must be reasonably easy in Spain. We are in Formentera.

I would have thought the builders merchants Leroy Merlin would have plasterboard - they use it for ceilings as well as stud walls so its definately available. Leroys are in La Canada, alternatively one of the smaller yards in one of the industrial poligonos would have it

the wood warehouse have 2 storesone in Montesinos and somewhere further south(cant remember where but it is near you)
Thay stock all sizes of plasterboard, stud walling everything you would find in a Uk builders merchants.
The owners name is colin and is Irish if you ask him nicely he always gives a decent discount.
