Anyone live in La Romana?

We have seen a few villas in La Romana and would like to know what the area is like.
Also can anyone recommend a swimming pool installer.

La romana is in the Alicante Province near to Hondon and not far from Pinoso(up my way,Inland a bit Rixxy)
I have friends who live in La romana and Hondon and they have both used the same guy to do their pools,i will try and find out his name for you.
I think his prices are quite reasonable and the workmanship seems good.

Hi we have just brought in Hondon, Romana is near to there a few people i have spoken to said its really nice. A few people in Hondon have used vox pools but i would be interested if you know a good builder. Vox do an 8 x 4 m for 10.900

I've had quotes for similar size pool in an area not far from you - all more than the price you quote. Also, Vox Polls has a great recommendation from a good friend of mine. I would tend to trust that more than a builder i don't know. Happy hunting.
