Costa Blanca Fish and chips

Wednesday, November 07, 2007 Karensun Villa I'm in Orihuela Costa I've made 1259 posts Send private message to Karensun	Best place I have found on Costa Blanca for fish and chips is the INN PLACE. Looks like a proper chippy inside and does fish, chips, mushy peas, bread and butter and drink for €6.50 ( lunchtimes...don't know about evenings ) and you can get SCRAPS !! ( batter bits for the uninitiated, ie not from Yorkshire! ) It's sort of left at the roundabout near Habanaros and wiggle a bit!! Wish we had known about that place when we were there last week! Must go find it in December sounds like a proper chippy!....Wonder if they do Patties (not fishcakes) Patty, chips,mushy peas ...with scraps,loads of salt and vinegar and bread and butter too....all washed down with a good old cuppa....heaven! Then on Friday we were allowed Haddock instead of a patty! (some days.. just a chip butty) Aaahhh, those were the days. Mind you my grandad owned a fish and chip shop and we are from Hull, so guess I grew up with fish and chips.
