some people are sad

last time I looked Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Marbella and all the towns towards Gib are south of Malaga

So I know what the OP was meaning and wnating to be south of Malaga

I don't live in that area but have visited many times and all of these areas will be good for winter

good luck

Benalmadena Pueblo is a lovely little village, situated between Mijas Pueblo and Benalmadena Costa. However if you prefer to be closer to the sea, I suggest beach side of the coast road, anywhere between La Cala and Puerto Cabopino, the Spanish legal system has now overuled all objections to the continuance of the wonderful boardwalk, so this whole distance will soon be walkable front line beach.

I can't give constructive advice on other areas south of Malaga, but I do have some 15 years first hand expereience of the the places mentioned, I wish you good luck. yes
