Just fill it from your own water supply- that's what everyone else does!

It's also illegal in most areas. But it would work out cheaper. A tanker of water is about 60 euro and you'd need about six for an average sized pool. From the mains about 80 euro depending on size.

Just hope none of your neighbours doesn't report it especially as S Costa Blanca has been in drought conditions since May.

Everyone where I lived did this.

i never saw a tanker fill a pool in the 14 years I lived there

it must show as an increase in water usage, particularly in the  summer, but as far as I am aware it is not questioned

We've just refilled our small (about 9 x3 metres) community pool after a major refit. Used 46 m3, which by my calculation will cost around €160.

We had an oaf of a gardener last year who put the auto irrigation system on for 3 times longer than usual every night; it was about a month before it was noticed. That cost us far more (at least double) than filling the pool. It did prompt a letter from the water board telling us we had "consumo no habítual", suggesting we check for leaks - but nothing more.
