Looking for advice on which estate agent to use.....

We are looking to purchase a property in Spain and have been in communication with R Theresort estate agents, does anyone have any thoughts as to whether they are a reputable company to use?

Hi don't know if we are talking about the same company, if it is this http://theresorts.co.uk  in Murcia you will not find nicer more honest set up in Murcia I have bought and sold with them a few times with no problems what so ever, they been going for a good few years now ever since the first Polaris World resort opened. You will not get any bull s*it. Like you will do from many other so called agents how make out they are selling the property but reality do not even have the keys to show you round. The Resorts  will be the main agent for the property they will be showing you. Not a third party agent, like you will find on this web site. Good Luck

Many thanks, good to have some thoughts as I havent been able to find anywhere for reviews etc....

I have been on a couple of viewings with The Resorts over the last couple of years. They are reputable, although I have had to chase them up a few times when they have not got back to me. I think this was one particular person not general to the company.

You need a good estate agent and an even better lawyer.

Check everything and the community rules and rights.

And community debts.... Ask for a debt certificate. Be sure to use a reputable independent lawyer.
