Hi - new: moving from UK Sussex to Galicia in summer 2016.

Hi there all, I'm new - to the forums/discussions at least, although I joined the site a couple of months ago and have done a few blog posts - 

I'd like to hear from anyone with experience of Galicia particularly, and especially around La Coruna/Santiago, and maybe Vigo.

I'd also like to hear from anyone that works in IT, E-Commerce or (Retail) Banking in Spain.

Our headlines:

- My wife is a Gallego, although has always lived in the UK as her parents (like many) came over to with for the NHS and schools in the 50/60/70's.

- We are booked for the ferry to move on July 1st from a rented house in Sussex (been around the area for the last 10/15 years) to the family (parents) home near Carballo, on the coast near La Coruna.

- We are bringing two younger kids, two cats, three gerbils, and a desire for the good life.

- I work in IT - now as an independant contractor - and initially plan to work Mon-Fri back in the UK.  Although I plan to look for similar work in Galica, and will be fine with a much lower salary.

I love  down south but my friend lives in Galicia, Boiro

This is near the towns of Padron, Noya between Santiago and Vigo 

The  rias, beaches and general beauty of the area makes me wish we were there, sadly the climate to similar to England

 But for us a super summer holiday

We  love the whole of Galicia even the industry of Vigo has charm

Sada outside of Coruna is very pretty and the Cafe Olé, Plaza Espana in Coruna is a joy 

enjoy your new life !!

I do love Galicia too. Summer in South Spain can get too hot!
