Reply problem

EOS- when replying to a post, nothing seems to happen for a long time, so the reply button is pressed again,  and again,resulting in a duplicate, or several duplicated messages appearing, which is annoying.

This never used to be a problem, but it happens every time now, and to other posters

Could this be sorted, please?

I am not encountering that problem, so it may be an issue with your browser or internet connection and just a momentary problem, not an issue with the site.

Is the problem still persisting ? 

I noticed a few duplicates from other posters too.

No problem this time.

Previously, when I pressed the Reply button, it took so long, I thought nothing had happened, so pressed it again, only to end up with duplicate posts.

However it has just worked first time! Can't explain it!

Internet is like that sometimes...technolgy isn't always as preditable as we would like it to be :-)  I experience it from time to time but it is normally internet conection related. Nonetheless if the problem comes back and persists for a unusually long time please get back to us or PM me directly.

EOS- there seem to be others having the same problem as me, that is, duplicate posts because pressing the Reply button does not seem to do anything the first time, because it is so slow, so it is pressed again and again, causing multiple repeats.

I have seen a post recently on EOS with 3 duplicates!

Doesn't happen to me on other forums, so is not to do with Internet speed

Also, there must be a way for the moderator on this forum to prevent duplicated posts from appearing?

I think that they are hitting the Reply button more than once, thinking that their first/second attempt hadn't worked.

I've found it to be a bit sticky lately.

Patience is required, click once and wait.
