Do you phone abroad? Don't waste cash; do it for free or for pennies!
An e-mail I just opened reminded me to yell about one of the biggest wastes of cash possible. It said "Thanks for the help with international call charges… my wife calls Romania and Italy at least twice a week; we have saved OVER £150 in the last month alone on our BT bill". It's simple to save a fortune without changing home phone line, just read the Article: Cheapest International Calls Related Articles: Free Calls From Mobiles, Cheapest Mobiles, Cheapest Home Phones
Personally, we use http://www.dialwise.co.uk/index2.php & ring an access number. Hope you can see the copy & pasted below. I regularly call my friends landlines in Spain, around 13p I pay for 20 mins. (Must be a connection charge somewhere as not exactly 0.5p/min.) It shows on your BT bill as the 0844 or 0871 number. If your friends don't answer you do pay for the time you're on the phone but nothing really & such a brill cheap way of staying in touch. Line's are clear too, unlike Skype or similar at times. Some of our friends don't have pc's so free Skype - Skype isn't an option.
