Hi can anyone tell me if dash cams are legal in Spain .

Steven,
I was translating for a couple from Belgium who were repoprting theft from their motorhome.. They were able to give the precise times the vehicle was entered as they had a dash cam (pointing forward to record their trip) and thus saw the movement on the cam. When I explained to the police why the times were so accurate, the police officer told me to tell the victims that the cam was illegal in Spain and that they should stop using it.
