When you open up my messages there is no facility for anyone to send me a private message.

I think I understand what you're saying. (Excuse me if I'm wrong & it's some problem with the set up with your mail.)
Anyone wanting to send you a PM must go to one of your posts & click on the Send private message to leema bit in there, there isn't a facility to contact members from their mailbox. Then you'll get their message which shows in a box marked NEW UNREAD MESSAGES RECEIVED until you read it then it goes into your OLD MESSAGES RECEIVED. If you reply it also will show in your SENT MESSAGES

ooooooooops it's gone again. can you see what I mean, when I look at your post I can reply to a private email, but not on mine.

Sorry, Maureen, I don't understand. Must be something Justin needs to sort then if you see it, then you don't.

I found this confusing myself at first. When you leave the EOS site, although you are still cokkied to the site, you do not stay logged in as such. If you are then viewing messages, the send private message link isn't there. A quick visit to the login in the members area, then a quick click on the forums link and it should all be functional again.

Justin, I can too, look .. for those times no one speaks to me  AND I had email notification I'd sent it too.
