Today saw the opening ceremony for a new Reading Point in Orihuela Costa.  Local people have donated over 10,000 books - mainly in English but with some German, Spanish and a few other languages too.  At the moment we only have enough people to open for two afternoons a week- Tuesday and Thursday - and we urgently need more volunteers to allow us to open for longer.

This is a completely free service and we need people to support it if it is to be a success.

If anyone is interested in doing a few hours then get in touch with myself or Cllr Martina Scheurer at the Playa Flamenca Town Hall.
