Scam Alert

SCAM WARNING:

"Have you been affected by dodgy electricians/ builders / TV service providers.

We have been contacted by a journalist from the Olive Press who is presently collecting information:


I am a reporter for the Olive Press (www.theolivepress.es), an english language newspaper focused on Andalucia, and I am investigating a pair of criminals** EDITED - Against forum rules ** who have taken money from ex-pats in the Costa del Sol and Costa Blanca, without doing any work.

They have been operating under the following company names - 
inlandskyspaintv.com, uktvsolutions.com, homeserve.es.com, 
a2belectricalservices, responseelectricalservices, and probably more. 

Their phone number - ** EDITED - Against forum rules **- has remained the same.

If any of our community members have dealt with any of these companies and have something to say, welcome to post up your comments.

I don't know if this has already been covered but ...... 

Today I recived an email as follows:

Hi
I would be interested in renting out your property,i will be willing to pay 6 months upfront.
can you let me know if the property is available.

I was suspicious because it's very non specific - always a sign to be wary of, so I googled it. It's a big scam. The telephone number is a premium rate mobile number (all 0703 numbers are) and cost £2 to connect and 50p/min. 

The reply email address is ben.ben457 at yahoo.co.uk.

I found hundreds of forum posts from all sorts of people had the same although some of te phone numbers were different - I think they keep pulling the plug but he just gets another number
