New Year in Spain

This will be our first year in Mijas Golf, Malaga for New Year..after buying our apartment this year...so looking for some recommendations on restaurants. Gala Dinners and all that jazz....... We have done the open sqare, grapes and pushing and shoving before and really is not our thing......must be getting old !!! Looking for a nice restaurant, where the expats go so hopefully have fun with some like minded folks.....

There is a lovely little bar called the Sol y sombre in Alegranza, Arroyo De la Miel. They put on a lovely spread and there are a good mix of people. They do the tradiotional Spainish grape eating and have two lots of gongs. One at twelve and then again at 1.pm.

Looking for a nice restaurant, where the expats go so hopefully have fun with some like minded folks....
Or you even try a Spanish establishment where Spaniards go !
