Hi :) Alpacas in Spain

 Hi there,

My name is Alan and I am from a town called Montoro, near to Cordoba, Andalucia. I breed alpacas and have been here for nearly five years. I have recently published my first book too. My partner and I love living here, and would like to say Hi to everyone on the forum.

By the way , Alpacas in Andalucia? I must admit it surpised me. I presume you breed them for their wool. How do they take to the heat? Did you specifically move to Spain to breed them?

 Thank you :) They seem to like it. The hardest part is the lack of green growth in the summer months for food. They are used to extreme temperatures, they originate from the altiplano in Peru.
