Hi Dean, welcome to EOS!  There is a fairly established club scene in Murcia , but you will need to contact security companies in the area, however most clubs don't actually employ "contract security" they tend to have their own team and compliment it with maybe 1 or 2 "professional" contract security,at tops. Due to the crisis all clubs have seen a major decline in income, over 60% in the past couple of years and unfortunately these are the one the first "oveheads" to suffer. You may find it tricky to find work. You may find it easier moving to a larger city, do you have any contacts with clubs in the area? There are a a few coffee companies on the east coast, however it is all pretty difficult, I assume you both speak Spanish...

Hi, how good is your Spanish? Do you have a strong command of the language? Otherwise you will find it incredibly difficult to find work anywhere.

any ideas on where to find the work.??  Thats the question 6 million people are asking at the moment :) It is very tough but if you have English and Spanish you may have a better chance of finding something in larger cities like Valencia, Madrid etc

As well as the language, which as Ian says is hugely important, don't forget that as well as your home-related bills such as rent, fuel, transport etc, you will also have the €300 monthly autonomo fee (assuming you will be self-employed) regardless of whether you have work in that month! Yes we know it's mad .... Just warning you that for freelancers or casuals, it's a lot to find before you get to keep any of your income for yourself :-(

Not trying to be negative, but as Ian says there are a heck of a lot of Spanish folk looking for work - you need either specialist skills or exceptionally good language skills to be chosen ahead of them for an employed post, or if you go freelance or start a business you have the monthly €300 to cover.

Good luck though and let us know how you get on :-)

SIA License out side of the u.k  Don´t mean a thing, like wise a Security qualification from Spain don´t mean a thing in the U.K.

As others have said unless you have Spanish you will not get anything these days here in Spain even if you do there are no jobs good luck
