How does the pm system work?

It may sound like a silly question, but how do you know when/ if you have received a pm?

I have sent a few messages to members that have recently advertised properties in the property forum, but have no way of tracking them to see if they have been received. So far, I have had only one response from the 4 pm's sent. This may be because the property has been sold (thanks for letting me know) or because the member is on holiday, or even because they don't get EOS generated system email (I don't, even though I have the notification box ticked, so don't know where they go??).

I have looked on the front page for a "member centre" where sent/ received messages could live, but can't find one. Also, when you first log in to the site after receiving a pm, does a pop up show to let you know one has been received?

I sent you a pm - did you get it?? I never know if it's worked or not.

I just receive pm's through my normal email system. The problem I have is that when I've sent a pm a few days later can never remember what I've said as have no record of them.

Seem to remember you were going on an inspection tour in Murcia - any good??

We really need to be able to keep a record of our PMs to members, don't we ? I copy the PM & keep it on a draft so I know what I said otherwise it's lost forever.

Not sure about receiving the pm, but i'm sure I got an email from you Annie (about your experiences with my agent?).

We haven't been to Murcia yet, are going this Thursday coming. I think we have been sold a white elephant though, as they have already told us there are no properties in our price range despite telling us at booking time they could source "anything" we wanted!!
