I have noticed that several contributors to threads edit their comments one or two days after posting, usually removing the content entirely. This makes a thread very difficult to follow as it jumps around, especially when that poster has made one or two comments one after the other. Is there a time limit on editing the threads as some other boards appear to have?

Problem solved, I have since seen a thread explaining why one of the main contributors has removed their posts. A real shame as some of them don't make a lot of sense then! I know some forum software has the ability to prevent editing/ removal after a certain amount of time, could be an idea for this one perhaps?

Justin,
Our development Don Juan has a thread entitled "First Occupancy Licence Granted!!!" which is a tad misleading as it's not and some duplicate threads.
Is it possible to change the name of a thread or combine duplicate threads?
thanks
