Freesat changes

 I read in one of the papers today that changes are coming tp Freesat, but it did not say what changes.  Does anybody know?

What is the best Manchester postcode for setting up Freesat?

Could be anything.

New channels to Freesat? Channels going away from Freesat? Channel frequency changes? BBC Red button changes? The new "g2" freesat boxes with more internet TV / catch u functinality?

Or do you mean the receent changes to HD channels on Freeview that happened? People get Freesat and Freeview confused - simply Fresat is by satellite and is available in Spain, Freeview is received by a TV aerial and is NOT available in Spain.

Unless you mean the replacement of 3 of the 4 satellites that provide UK saellite TV over the next year or so...

What is the best Manchester postcode for setting up Freesat?

Any Manchester postcode can be used for Manchester on Freesat. M1-M99 will work equally the same.. A Manchester postcode will always get BBC North West and Granda. Input a postcode from another regions and you  get those regions on 101 and 103.

The postcode on a Freesat box only determines which BBC you get on 102 and 102, which ITV1 ITV1HDC4 and Five  regions you get.
