SMART A FRAME TOW BAR

Does someone have a legal knowledge regarding using a smart A frame towing system in Spain
.
It would be used for moving cars from A to B etc.

A frames  are illegal.

They are also illegal in the UK except for emergency recovery to a safe place.

I honestly don't about the law in Spain but have previously read that they are illegal in Spain and in France and Portugal. I can only suggest that you ask at the Police HQ. In England, I tow a small Fiat behind my Motorhome. I use a towbar that steers the Fiat and also operates lights and brakes. In effect, the Fiat becomes a trailer and is perfectly legal in the UK. I have never been stopped. One would think that the same should apply throughout the EU but sadly this is not always the case and therefore leads to confusion. I know that there are different laws relating to caravans, and even to towbars. New rules have recently been introduced in the UK particularly as relates to the bar fastenings and the lights.
