Sunday Opening Hours - Supermarkets

Hi,

I am new to the forum and also a new visitor to the Mazzaron/Camposol area of Spain.  I would be extremely grateful for any information or help regarding Sunday supermarket (or equivalent) opening hours please.

Our flight from the UK is due to arrive at San Javier airport at 11am on Sunday and on researching the local area it looks as though it will be really difficult to purchase "supplies".  Please can anyone offer any suggestions as to where we might be able to buy provisions, if only the basics, on a Sunday around this area?

Hi Joanne - there is a big Eroski at Dos Mares near the airport - AP7 exit 777.  They are open every day except Xmas.

You´re welcome Joanne.  Just for clarity - you need to head a few kilometres north on the AP7 to get to Dos Mares - direction Torrevieja / Alicante.

hi There,Uppers supermarket in the port of Mazarron is open on Sunday morning till 2.00,this is just opposite Mercadona as you drive in to the port .If you are staying on Camposol there is also a small local supermarket on Sector A also open till 2.00.
