Legal Action against Debtors

Our community has taken legal action against debtors, starting over three years ago in the Estepona Court, So far we have achieved nothing, have changed lawyerws, but still await some action despite others in these columns commenting of success in months. The court process flow chart we have had translated talks of a result in 30 days, and I wonder if there is anything we can do to get some action prior to our next AGM in June, as all the lawyer tells us is that we just  have to wait.

Your Lawyer is correct. Taking debtors through the Spanish Courts takes forever and there is nothing you can to to make the Law quicker.

Even the fast track system takes an age.

Normal system........about 5 years

Fast track.......one year and still no result

And you cannot transfer debtors from the normal system to the fast track.

Fustrating tho' it is you have to wait.
