Discounts on water charges

I have been told as a over 65 resident in Spain that I am entitled to a discount on my water charges.

Can anyone tell me how I go about getting this discount?

I'm not sure if each water company is different by I believe that Aquagest (our supplier) credits back a certain amount to pensioners.  I don't think it's a discount as such, more as money off at the end of the year.

Electricity, garbage, gas, or????

My mother looked into asking for a discount on her water bill. She is with aguagest. To receive the discount her only income would have to be just her state pension.
