HI Everyone
If you live in the Marbella area, you may have already heard about the Marbella Toastmasters Club. We meet on Wednesdays in Nueva Andalucia. Its a great social event and is a great opportunity if you're looking for a bit of a challenge. Whilst the ultimate aim is to learn how to get up and speak in front of an audience, we all have our own reasons for joining the Club. I joined because I needed a bit of help with confidence.
The Annual Area Conference of Toastmasters is being held in Marbella this year on the 28th April in the Palacio de Congresos in Marbella, with a Gala Dinner at La Sala, Puerto Banus. There will be visitors from other Clubs in Spain and Portugal, guest speakers and it promises to be a great event. It is often said that we don't have enough in the way of stimulating and challenging culture here in Spain - this is most definitely something to get those brain cells working again :)
