BBC outside UK

Hi John

I too have encountered problems, as yet unresolved, in downloading BBC programmes. I get as far as "we are obtaining information...." but one can wait  forever. I do not think that Expat Shield is at fault, and suspect a BBC problem or maybe a deliberate ploy to ignore me (us). But how could BBC identify a "doubtful" route? I join you in seeking a technical answer. I have been using ES for a long time and this has only just reared its head.

Strangely, having posted the earlier reply, I tried again and found that the facility has been restored, although oddly there was no size declared (it was in fact a 60-minute item on British Birds) but it seems to have finished OK. Earlier this morning I took on a new download from Adobe FlashPlayer and maybe this was the root cause. Try again, possibly after taking the Adobe item.
