Quote in part:

'It's understood that Banana Beach is among the properties that will be knocked down.
The new PGOU official development plan for Marbella has set the maximum number of illegally built homes to be demolished at 752.

It’s understood that 12 buildings in total will be knocked down, about half these are currently occupied. These properties were built in green and public zones."

From the same source I saw this. We looked at Residencial Montecid.

The local Town Hall says the promoter does not have a licence to build

Local police at Monforte del Cid near Elda have taped up 150 bungalows and chalets deemed to have been built illegally.

They partially built buildings are in the Residencial Montecid and the taping up comes on the orders of the local Town Hall.

A police presence has also been added at the site to ensure that construction really does stop.

The Town Hall says that the Promoter, Grupo Masa, has no licence to build. The promoter has, as yet, given no response.

This is absolutely appaling, how would any of us know if there is corruption in parts of Spain, and our properties were going to end up below our knees, after having gone through all the proper procedures?? Would we know until it hits us??
