Hmm, having never heard of it (ie. it's not been talked about on here before, as far as I can remember) then it's probably predominatly Spanish.

That's not say there aren't some Brits there though!

Justin

Hi Isabella, Escoznar is a small village on the road between Illora and Pinos Puente with good transport links to Granada. There is a regular bus service into Granada. It is mainly Spanish but there are a few Brits there , my husband has done maintenance work for some there and fitted new kitchens etc and the locals are very friendly. Escoznar is only 10 mins from Illora where there are quite a few Brits and also 10 mins from Pinos Puente where there is a large Mercadona supermarket as well as schools and other shops. The village where I live is about 15 mins from Escoznar and is purely Spanish ( no other English at all ). It is a lovely area to live in surrounded by olive groves ,cherries and almonds, very peacefull, Granada city centre would be about a 20 min drive from Escoznar and about 45 mins to the Sierra Nevadas for the skiing in the winter.

Regards

Kim
