I think this system charges you lower cost units at night times & dearer during the day.  Does anyone have the times & costs for this system & is it worth changing.  Thanks

apparently they are more expensive if you are already on dual rate with Endesa

Iberdrola cheaper! I wouldn't like to use a more expensive supplier. We just got a bill for 1008 E for electricity for August & September which was on top of the last bill for over 600 E. This is a large villa we rent out as holiday lets, so obviously the A/C (& most of the electrical appliances as well) must have been running 24/7.

We will have to look into a better tariff or A/C cut out system or pre-paid meter or solar power.

Any suggestions?

Mike

In UK I switch supplier whenever to get a better deal and have no worries.

In Spain I worry if I switch it will not work out cheaper and I will have hassle - so I stick with what I know Endesa - Telefonica - Vodafone etc

Iberdrola are actively advertising 20% cheaper but in truth depending on your plan with Endesa it can work out more expensive.

Proceed with cuation and read the smallprint and check the tarrifs you will actually be paying compared to what you are paying at the moment.

Faro, I'm with you on this one.

I'm always very sceptical about switching suppliers here.  Some friends of ours lost their internet for two weeks when trying to phone/adsl change suppliers.

So I can't imagine what might happen if I tried to swap to a new electricity supplier.

It just doesn't bear thinking about

Justin
