Halal or Vegetarian Restuarants Costa Blanca South

Help Needed... I have two Muslim friends coming to visit and I have no idea which restaurants around Formentera del Segura are either Halal or Veggie. Does anyone know of one or can recommend somewhere?

There is The Spice Hut in Quesada. They even have a veggie only kitchen.

 We had the same problem when our Muslim friends came out. Don't forget they eat fish and all Spanish places serve fish. Most Kebab shops in Spain are Halal as they are usually Turkish. We found a few Halal places and a couple of Halal butchers in Torremolinos, but you are too far away. Our friends just stick with fish and veggies when we are out. Beware of Indian restaurants they are not normally Halal even if they say they are. Be careful with "breakfast cakes" most of them contain pork fat!!

Hi Irene - if you want to take your visitors into Torrevieja there is a vegetarian restaurant one street back from the front, just behind the waterfall.  I'm not vegetarian but their food is delicious!
