Can anyone help me on this please.
Just received contract on an off plan property to be completed in July 08. On the contract there is no mention of any grills to be fitted on windows. Am I correct in saying that all new builds in Spain built after September 06 should be fitted with grills as a matter of course?
Our agent advises that this is an extra, and as such is not part of the contract.
Any advise is appreciated
Regards
Tugay

Hi Tugay, Yes I am sure it is law now that grilles have to be fitted. But if you go into the thread Property crime their should be a thread about security. Our apartment had grilles fitted. Regards Pat

Hi Tugay
Your original contract will will state what is included in the specification. This is the contract you signed when you paid your deposit. This is the date the law refers to, not the date of completion.
If you signed your original contract after September 2006 your specification will include window grilles which will be fitted to ground floor windows (only).
