venta la choza

has anyone been recently (last 12 months) to the Venta la choza near sabbinillas. we last went 3 years ago, it was ok but places change ownership or chefs so often, you never know from one year to the next.

 I am very ashamed to say that in seven years I have never been to this place  yet everyone I know really rates it.

It does look like they've done it up recently but it still seems to be very popular.

That's it, I'm going to try it next week.

I'm fed up of driving past the place every day and never going in.

I have been several times in 2011- fully recomend it- is closed on Tuesdays. They have a menu del dia amazing- like for 9 euros or something with drink included. Every time I went for lunch it was full, locals eat there and also, when the Finca Cortesin Volvo Match Play was on, the players went there to eat. I am more then happy to give it a good review :).
