All welcome me to wish good luck to Impey please

Our member Impey, is going into hospital tomorrow for a knee operation.

She is a little aprehensive, as I was for my hip replacement, and I just thought we could all send her our best wishes.

So Impey, i will kick it off! (Sorry about the pun, kick, knee, get it, oh sorry!)

Good luck for tomorrow, I will be thinking of you and sending my kindest thoughts to you.

Impey...dont know what type of knee operation you having but good luck. I had a knee operation in January to repair an old ruptured cruciatel ligament and repair torn cartilidge. I was out same day!!!  15 years ago when i had the first ligament operation i was in for 7 days and in plaster for 6 months...proving the techniques have improved tremendously and its very routine now.  So no need to worry...you will soon be downhill skiing even if you couldn't do it before!!

 HI Impey,    good luck with knee operation the guy down the road to us has just had that done and he seems fine now.  But he cannot get out much at the moment because of the weather      How are you now Sue are you coping alright?   Regards Pat

Thanks for your interest, hip is fine thanks, have the odd day when things seem a little sore, but maybe I have done too much?

All in all though, it is heaven to be free of the nasty relentless pain I was in before.

I recommend this hip replacement thingy to anyone who is suffering........................
