Los Alcazares bike hire

Hi.

Having just finished my exams I have just started riding my bike to try and get fitter and lose weight.

We are going to Los Alcazares in two weeks time and I hope to hire a bike whilst there.

We have opted for on checkin and carry on luggage to keep costs down and as it's only a week break have decided not to take my road bike.

There are two bike hire shops I know of, one on the square by the orange bar and one down in the old town

My questions are:
Can I hire a road bike in Los Alcazares
Also, I need toe clips and straps on the pedals should I take my own?

Bikes can be hired from The Oasis Service Center , Arches complex.

We speak english so any problems can be sorted out quickly.

We have fax and printing facilities for boarding cards etc.

Andybax, it seems KerrB may be a seasoned cyclist who uses a road bike (racer). so do you hire out road bikes? (I've only ever seen basic mountain bikes etc at spanish hire shops) not coem across your shop though, hence the question.

Kerry, I doubt hired bikes would come with SPD/cleats or clips/straps as you describe (but I may be wrong!)

Hi Growler , you are correct there. We have mountain bikes and normal gents and ladies road bikes but not racing bikes.

Hi Both

I did manage to hire a bike from costa blanca bike hire which worked very well. Bike was dropped to and picked up from apartment with no issues.
