Welcome from me too!  Although we are buying inland in Murcia, we had visited Almeria on an inspection trip.  Although we didn't buy there, we really liked Almeria and last year we spent a week in an apartment in Vera Playa, exploring the area.  We particularly liked the towns of Vera, Garrucha and of course Mojacar Pueblo!

Welcome to EOS. It's a fab site and no doubt you will get lots of information and advice from the friendly bunch who populate this site.

We have bought in Almerimar also but at the Porto Fino development. One of the others who has bought there has recently been over and reports that Almerimar is getting livelier with lots of restaurants around the marina, he suggests it is starting to get that Puerto Banus feel to it.
