Hi everyone

Does anyone have an interest in the San Jose site in Jumilla.  I'm getting concerned that there is little or no information coming through to me and I wondered if anyone else is experiencing the same?

Hi Pollyana

With your name, you should be looking on the bright side like most of your fellow buyers in Santa Ana del Monte, which includes me!   I think many of us have been suffering from the same feeling of not knowing what is going on, however with so many future neighbours posting on the forum when they do get news and when they have visited the development, it is pretty reassuring.  John and I visited the site on 7 and 8 May, and were pleased to see plenty of work going on while we were there: lots of workers, lorries, concrete mixers, cranes etc.  I never thought I would be so excited by seeing a building site!

Which plot are you buying on, and which type of house?  We are buying an Azucena, which is on R10 no 694.

Are you planning any visits to Jumilla?  We are hoping to be there again in September, to celebrate my birthday!

Regards.

Sue

Hi everyone

Thanks for the replies.  It is reassuring that others are buying in Jumilla - thought it was just us for a minute!  We are planning a visit sometime in September/October, I don't know any dates yet.  I'll let everyone know what is happening as soon as we know.  We are buying an Amapola R-17 No93, there's only me and the old man so it'll be big enough for us.  We haven't made our minds up whether we'll up sticks and go for good yet, it all depends on the development.  Keep me informed everyone, I'm getting a little tense.

Thanks

Hi Pollyanna

Just relax and chill out.  You will be in Spain, hopefully sooner rather than later, and that is their attitude!  There are lots of other people buying in Santa Ana/Jumilla, and some of them have been waiting a lot longer than we have!  Things are starting to happen, and I think it is good news that San Jose aren't rushing things but waiting for each licence.  At least we know it will be a legal build!

John and I are going to Hampton Court Golf Club a week on Saturday, as San Jose will be there all day.  Let us know if you have any burning questions, and we will try and get an answer for you.

Where do you live at the moment?  We live in South London, however we went to Torquay for a weekend and met lots of our future neighbours, and they were a great bunch of people.  We plan to move to Santa Ana permanently in two years' time - can't wait!

Have faith - I think we have all made a good decision and in a few years' time we should be living out there.

Sue

Thanks for the reassuring reply Sue, it is appreciated.  We presently live in the Midlands and we too are planning to move to Spain permanently in a couple of years time.  To be honest I can't wait either.  Sometimes it is just lovely to hear from others who are planning the same thing, the doubts aren't so bad then!  I am sure there will be loads of questions nearer the time, but for now it is just nice to know that we aren't on our own.

Thanks again.
