Ocean Estates/Llanera immobiliaria - Caravaca de la Cruz

I visited an Ocean Estates exhibition (Caravaca de la Cruz resort) at the Holiday Inn in Bristol, England in september 2006. I found a property that I liked and I have paid in a deposit of 3000 Euros with my credit card. I had a letter in July 2007 saying that in January 2007 the local government of Caravaca had given approval for Plan Parcial (planning permission) and that the Llanera Developers were waiting for the definitive approval - Aprobacion Definitiva. Since then, I have heard very little. Nothing from Ocean Estates. I dont even know if they are still around. I had email the Solicitor, Liesbeth Dijkers from Diana Zuuring Lawers who referred me to her Diana Zuuring office at Marbella. I haven't heard anything since then and I do not know what the situation is. Can anyone clarify this for me please. I would also like to hear if anyone else is in a similar situation

5 years is a long while to wait before you start to try to recover your money you should try to reclaim your deposit through the credit card companyas you will get nowhere with Ocean Estates even of you could find them

Ocean Etstates are long gone!

Llanera went down the pan before the 'crisis' , in late 2007  I believe. They owed about 800 million euros. At the time they sponsored Charlton Athletic  & they were in the premier league ! Now they are in the 3rd tier.

EUR800 million - that's loose change to all the money lost on property!
