Route 66 Benimar

Went to Route 66 in Benimar in Feb (2011) & I have to say it was fab!

It is an American themed bar with the most gorgeous burgers I have ever had in Spain. We wre made to feel very welcome, the service was quick but by no means 'fast food' & there is a good selection on the menu. The chicken burger was made up with a real chicken breast not the mushed up 'reformed' rubbish, the Hot Chick burger was a taste explosion. My husband had a Route 66 burger that was taller than his bottle of Bud!

The price was fab too 24Euro for 3 of us (mains & drinks) Will defo go again

Totally agree, I've been there several times now during my many visits to Spain, the latest being October 2011 and will be going in a couple of weeks when I return. Very clean and well stacked with US memorabilia. Good entertainment especially when Martin does his thing.

The plates are massive and the food is second to none. The burger is nearly as high as the plate is wide. If you want a real treat then get the Ribeye steak that fills your plate.

Best of all, you're made to feel welcome and Martin, the owner, not only always remembers you but remembers your name and what you drink.

I can't recommend this place enough!

 Ive not been there since 2011, but I remember the food being delicious! Well recommended.
