I don't think anyone could disagree with that, Maria, but, personally, I find the cost obscene when so many people live rough in that area under the bridges etc.
London competes with the likes of Sydney to have the best firework display at any cost. The budget for the ten minute display & crowd control was 1.8m, up from the previous year's 1.6m

Of course we want fireworks but a three minute display would have sufficed in my opinion, anything else should've been given to deserving charities. I can't understand certain mentalities when people are IN NEED!
