Macro - Eye on Spain

It's not open to the general public. Makro in Malaga stocks everything from food & drink to garden furniture and hardware. All prices are shown excluding IVA (VAT) since most customers will be claiming back IVA anyway, so be careful when comparing prices. When I moved to Malaga, I went to Makro expecting to use my card from Mallorca, but was told I had to apply for a new card here. The Mallorca card was not acceptable. This may have changed now, and looking at the Spanish Makro website, it does seem to suggest that not only can you use your card at any of the 34 stores throughout Spain now, you can also use it at stores abroad. Reply: NO PROBLEM! Amazing how things have changed - it seems globalization is catching on even in Spain.
