 Hi Connas007

We are in Playa Flamenca too!

We have spent Christmas there on/off for 8 years

The weather has generally been very pleasant, T shirts in the day with a jumper in the evenings.

however, last Christmas was exceptionally cold!

Although we have panels heaters throughout our apartment, I was freezing in the evenings and overnight!

But, as i say, that was an exception..........

The bars & restaurants are busier than they are in November & early December.

If you want to eat out Christmas day, you will have to book in advance.

The supermarkets are open on most of the Christmas days, bar 25th and of course, 6th Jan which is Spanish Christmas Day

They all post their opening times on the doors, so it's not a problem.

The beach at La Zenia was good last year on the 25th. Carol singing, band, people having BBQ's, a great atmosphere.

As for New Year, the Spanish love their fire works at midnight and we always have a fantastic display around the whole area!

I hope all this helps, just give it a go and then you will know!!!

The best bit is

There is no 'Slade' or 'Wizzard' playing in the supermarkets.
