help please on a vpo

 hello all, could anyone tell me how i go about finding if the vpo on my property (which as a british citien i was illegally sold in 2004) will be lifted it has been on the property in riviera del sol now for 25 years? any help would be great as we need too sell kind regards darren

I'm really not qualified to answer the question but you may be able to get some assistance from your Town Hall or local land registry office.

I found this which discusses VPO's which may help...although where you go from here is a different matter!

I know somebody who bought out the VPO about 5 years ago on Riviera (Caronte)

They paid about 1000 euros.

The money was paid to the Junta de Andalucia,who originally lent the money to the builder.

It will probably be less now and can be deducted from the sales proceeds once

a certificate is obtained from the Junta showing the amount due

Your administrator should have details of the procedure.

 peteha, wow we are on caronte aswell !!!!!!! do you know if the vpo had expired and they paid to get the vpo of the deeds or was it another of spains dodgy deals ?? you could be most helpful to us thank you kindest regards darren
