I don't think anyone will get a habitation license on Oasis until the urbanizacion is finished 2009. Some people are happy just squatting there until it arrives, but some have added pools and underbuilds without the paperwork. If these things are not on the obra licenses then the habitation will not be issued to anyone until fines are paid and maybe all work reversed. It depends how sympathic the town hall is to residents, but if you have moved in do not change a thing.

SnowKing is correct, Karen, do not change anything until you have that piece of paper in your hand. We didn't get our habitation licence for two years & those of us on five communities (so likely 300 villas) with same style villas, had to remove our utility area roofs before being granted it though we've now all put these back on. (Putting a conservatory type roof on the utility area which had four 8ft high walls meant, according to the Town Hall, that we had created another room). Others had extended the height of walls (not permitted), had pools put in (not permitted) so you watch what you do.

Karen, have you joined your owners development forum yet ? Is it one of THESE ? If so, just click blue link & join. Maybe someone knows something in there.

Good luck.

Any changes whatsoever have to be approved by the Town Hall and yes More putting a roof on your utility area is considered adding another room as is closing in a covered terrace or something like that - you are even supposed to get a licence to paint the house or do improvements inside as well - in fact you are not permitted (officially) to break wind in your home without first getting a licence to do so.
