Hello,

My Orange Pay-As-You-Go mobile began losing credit a couple of weeks ago. I recharged it today at about 3PM, for the third time in 2 weeks. My 10 Euros credit has now dropped to 4.31 Euros despite the fact I have neither made nor received a single call, nor have I sent any texts.

I spoke to an Orange shop today and the lady there said it was probably due to me accepting calls from UK numbers, but I have not had any since I topped up today and still my credit has dropped. I have been on the Orange website but can find no information and my Spanish is not good enough to call them.

Any ideas? If this continues I will have no choice but to switch the phone off and leave it.

My wife had something similar with Vodafone recently.  What was happening was she was receiving several unsolicited spam texts per day from some dodgy company and was actually being charged for receiving them.  She rang vodafone and got the number blocked/blacklisted.  Maybe something similar is happening to you?
