Can anyone advice me please?

I am waiting to complete on fuenta de piedra 2 we had to sign so they say by the 10th of april 07

we have been informed by the solicoter that they are having problems with the mortgage

because the bank they were dealing with are not used to study mortgages .I was wandering what a study mortgage is  and would it be to late to go and get our own mortgage instead of the builders? would be grateful for any advice .
