Im new and im moving to a spanish Cave House!

Hi, ive just found and registered on this forum. Im hoping I can gain some helpfull advice and maybe share some information about my plans for the future. I have bought a Spanish Cave house in the increadible mountain area of inland Granada in Spain. The property is about 300 years old and has been lived in for many many years. I am currently carrying out renovations to it. Hopefully ill  move over there in about 18 months.

are you in Guadix I know there are lots of cave houses there, we have an ongoing renovation in Iznalloz, a small village inland from granada.  Good luck with your renovations.

Our cave is in the village of Orce, there are loads of caves around the area, hundreds of them in the very picturesque village of Galera.

 Good Luck with your project. How is it going for you? Have you got a lot to do?  Tell us more!!!!!!! 

I would say post in Good news in Spain thread,  but I would stay here for now till it all calms down whenever that will be.!!!!!

Do not be put of by it though you will get a lot of help on this forum.

Thanks, it going very well. Im going out again in two weeks for three weeks, hoping to do some more electrics, fit a new front door and frame, strip out the courtyard roof and start to build the front wall. Ill get some pictures and write an update when I get back.
