Having posted a few negative posts on here today (just getting it off my chest! here is some good news.

Velez Rubio has just been given the green light  from the Junta (after 6 years in the making) to start the process of building a golf course and it couldn't be in a more beautiful area bordering on a national park the town is medieval and some of the buildings date back to 1500ad. 

We have some Spanish friends that live in Velez Rubio and we're planning to visit them this summer.  They always go on about how great it is there so I'm looking forward to seeing the place for myself.
