Hi, Can anyone please tell me where and when the daytime processions are in Malaga for Easter, on Good Friday - as in the 2nd April?

Thanks very much,

Jane

Have a look at the info on the Diario Sur website.  That details everything.

If you have problems with the Spanish you can run it through the Google Translate tool.

Enjoy the processions.

Justin

I believe Thursday is always quite spectaular as that is when the army/navy also march.

But any day is good but it is also very crowded.

Parking and access in general can be a problem so you might have to park up and walk quite a bit.

Good idea - also as far as I know the trains run later than normal during semana santa

I went to the Malaga Easter Processions last night with family and friends.

Well, I know there's a recession in Spain but you wouldn't believe it with the number of people enjoying a warm evening with Spectacular Processions all around the Centre of Town. It's a Truly unique occasion that's not to be missed if you get the chance!!

We parked up at the Plaza Mayor that's just 3 Train Stops from the Centre with easy car parking. The New Trains are very spacious and Airconditioned. It costs just €2.20 return!
