Recommended Hotels from Malaga to Bilbao

 Hi

I will be driving back from Mijas Costa to Bilbao in May and intend to stop halfway overnight but preferably not in Madrid and then again in Bilbao before getting ferry following morning.

Can anybody please recommend hotels to stay in?

As I have not done this before I would prefer to get recommendations if possible.

 Look up Accor Hotels and there are some names within that group. We like Etap as they have little en suites,can sleep 3 and take 1 dog per room. Not sure what would be on your route.
