hi everyone...........
This is a great website so glad i found it..... Anyway...my family and i are thinking of moving to spain.......... i have four children 12 11 5 4 and at the moment we are trying to decide where we want to go..........obviously the most important things are schools and health care.........
Lake vinuela is some where i am interested in and we plan to holiday there in september.........just wondered if anyone here knew anything about the area(good and bad)

sorry.......its in axarquia which is in andalucia.......the closest village is called la vinuela...its about 40 minutes from malaga

Hi Kez,
I've been looking around the east side of Malaga and have visited this area recently including Torrox north of Nerja.
Although there are some excellent areas worth checking out, I've received mixed reports about the build quality from some property developments so be sure to thoroughly research any developer in this region! It may be well worth renting for a period before buying "anything"?

Hi Kez. Vinuela area is very nice only 15/20 min to the coast we know the area pretty well as we stay near there every year (the coast) we also know many people that live that way , BE VERY CAREFUL IN THAT AREA there are many dodgy builds in that area (no planning permission) There are some good buys such as 3 bed villa with pool also garage in fenced plot for about 240 .000 eur. but is it LEGAL lots of dodgy builders in that area just be careful .
